The Problem
Brake fluids must meet specific quality standards for the braking system to work properly. Over time, the protective properties of brake fluid diminish as moisture infiltrates the fluid through the hoses and rubber seals. As moisture content increases, the fluid’s boiling point decreases along with the ability to resist corrosion and operate at peak performance. Routine replacement of brake fluid helps maintain safe operation and protects the vital components of the braking system.
The Solution
BARDAHL PRO® DOT-4 Synthetic Brake Fluid is designed for use in all ABS, Disc, and Drum brake systems that require DOT-4 brake fluids. The solution is formulated from high-quality glycol fluids that are extremely stable and maintain their protective properties over long service intervals. It provides excellent corrosion protection and is safe for all materials used in typical automotive brake systems. The formulation has excellent dry and wet boiling points to ensure safe effective operation of the brake system under high temperature conditions. It exceeds Federal FMVSS NO. 116, meets SAE J1703 and J1704 specs and mixes with all DOT-4 brake fluids.

Directions
Follow the vehicle manufacturer’s recommendations when adding brake fluid. Keep brake fluid clean and dry. Store brake fluid only in its original container. Keep the container clean and tightly closed to prevent any absorption of moisture. Do not refill the container. Do not use with or for other liquids. Dispose of any used or unused product and the container in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
