The Problem

Over time many limited slip differentials develop clutch plate chatter due to degraded frictional properties of the differential fluid. Chattering often occurs when the vehicle is turning with the wheels revolving at different speeds and the clutch plates or disks are not sliding freely, causing improper operation.

The Solution

BARDAHL PRO® Limited Slip Differential Additive is specially formulated with a synthetic friction modifier for use in limited slip rear axles. When added to the differential lubricant, it will modify the friction to reduce noise, vibration and clutch plate chatter.

Directions

Replace old fluid with Bardahl Pro LSD or add to the differential unit reservoir as needed to maintain correct fluid level, do not overfill. Drain and refill by removing the old fluid from the rear axle while the oil is warm. Add the solution to the differential and refill the axle to the proper level. Dispose of any used or unused solution and container in accordance with the local, state and federal regulations.
